THE NARROW MIND
Oh can you see that, as I see it,
The tree has grown but its shade has'nt
Leaves sprout
Flowers blossom and
Fruits ripen
Yet it still remains 'green 'and
Grief -stricken !
United in hate , Divided in love
You stand to gaze into the empty skies
And squabble about the ground beneath
Lying about truth , mouthing lies
Aggrieved you are- Agreed !
Dejected by the shimmering light,
But what justifies it ,
but for your cannibalistic right
that you fend of your own soul
in your sublime fight,flight & fright .
The Righteous is but only a figment of imagination,
but as is your pleasure intangible
your tomorrow as uncertain
And your end as certain
truth is the white background
on which u script your white lies in black ink
my wisdom is not eternal
my virtues not infallible
but the joy of an aesthete conscious
is unfathomable.
No ! I forsake my grouse with you,
Ah! for I know you can't see what I see.
you can't bear what I bear .
good work
